National Dog Day Hike

Event Details

Celebrate National Dog Day by taking your best friend on a guided hike of the Star Walk Trail at Harrison Bay! Ranger O'Brien will be leading the hike, and participants will receive a free Harrison Bay Pawsport. Dog participants will receive a stamp for completing the Star Walk Trail.


Attendance is FREE and does not require registration. If you'd like to donate, all proceeds will go towards maintaining the Dog Park and you'll be recorded as a registered program participant.


Please meet at the Star Walk Parking Lot, across from the Interpretative Center. A non-toxic washable ink pad will be available for participating dogs to get their Pawsport stamped.

A restroom is available inside the Interpretative Center and the gift shop will be open. A water bowl will be available for thirsty dogs after the hike.
