Event Details

Meet the Ranger at 10:00am at the Tennis Court parking area across from the campgrounds for a 1.95-mile hike touring the upland, predominantly oak-forest habitat at Rock Island State Park. Along the way the Ranger may talk about park history, native flora or fauna, or other topics that interest the hikers (things to see in the area, etc). This is a lesser-used trail and features a viewing area of the Caney Fork.

This hike will take roughly two hours, has some hills and uneven footing so be sure to bring sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing, and water.

Hope to see you on the trails!
