“Brooms” have been around ever since people began cleaning up their living spaces. More than just a tool, brooms’ association with customs, traditions, and superstitions across cultures prove the special connection they have on human history. 

Brooms can take on many forms; flat, round, with handle, utilitarian, decorative, & even brooms able to take flight. Come join us at Rocky Fork to make a sweeper broom of your very own with Emileigh Zola.

Emileigh Zola is a mother, professional broommaker, teacher, healer, and facilitator. She learned to make brooms almost a decade ago and has been sharing her love of this craft ever since. She comes from a long line of Appalachian women and brings a grounded presence to her work and her teachings. She enjoys connecting her students to the power of the present moment and creates an invitation to craft with intention and slowness.
