Step back in time at the Sadie Ford Heritage Day Camp at Cedars of Lebanon State Park! Designed with homeschool families in mind, this hands-on day camp introduces children to life during the Great Depression while exploring our region's rich heritage. Participants will enjoy traditional activities such as butter churning, cast iron oven cooking, basket making, creating yarn dolls, and more. Through interactive learning and historic skills, campers will discover what daily life was like in a fun and engaging way.
Ages: 8 to 12
Time: 10 am until 2:30 pm.
Lunch will be provided. Children will be preparing and cooking their own meals through cast iron oven cooking with 1930s recipes.
