Event Details

Do you love digging in the dirt?  Do you hate trails that have washed away?  Then join Ranger Martinez for the Cumberland Trail's newest volunteer opportunity,

"Tread Tuesdays!"
One Tuesday every month until spring, you can come help Ranger Martinez re-dig old trail that has eroded away and could use some love.  Some areas are very remote and may require multiple miles of rugged hiking to reach our work sites, so make sure you are ready for a challenge!

Pre-registration is required.  Locations will vary based on the month.  We will meet at the Cumberland Trail North Office at Cove Lake State Park at 9AM Eastern Time.

Please make sure you have adequate food and water for multiple hours in the backcountry.  Sturdy footwear and long pants are recommended.

Reach out to Ranger Martinez at lydia.martinez@tn.gov or 423-307-9304 with any questions.
