The Downstream Trail is a 1.6-mile round-trip hike that winds through a breathtaking river gorge, offering spectacular views of the Caney Fork River, the historic Great Falls Dam, the iconic Twin Falls, and unique limestone formations. Along the way, hikers will experience rocky terrain, and stair climbs while learning about the park's rich natural history, geology, and wildlife.
This moderate hike is ideal for participants looking to explore the beauty of the park while enjoying fresh air and unforgettable scenery. Participants should wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring water, and be prepared for uneven terrain. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
