Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a guided bird walk through some of the park’s best birding spots. Participants will learn about the incredible journeys migratory birds undertake, discover tips for identifying species by sight and sound, and gain a deeper appreciation for the habitats these birds depend on. This walk highlights the importance of conservation and how you can help migratory birds thrive.

This program is recommended for ages 10 through adult. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 8:00 am. Be prepared to walk 1–2 miles over both paved and unpaved surfaces. Binoculars will be available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own. The program will last approximately three hours.

The cost of this program is $6 per participant. Children under 5 are free with a paying adult.

Please come prepared with sturdy walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
