Ongoing Improvements at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park

Visitors may experience temporary closures and limited access at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park due to ongoing capital improvement projects. Work will include infrastructure and facility upgrades to enhance the park for future visitors. Some areas of the park may be closed at times, and nearby parking or road access may be affected.

    This prime location in downtown Nashville provides spectacular views of the State Capitol and Capitol Hill. The park is divided up into 6 rental areas. The price to rent each park area ranges from $1,000 to $2,300 per day.

    Our Event Spaces

      Bicentennial Mall Area A

      Average rates: $1000–$2000

      The Amphitheater — Bicentennial Area B

      Average rates: $1000–$2300
      Capacity: 2000 guests

      This is our most popular choice for weddings and concerts. The amphitheater is built in the tradition of Greek architecture and can comfortably seat over 2,000 people. The amphitheater has hosted everything from small, intimate weddings to the Nashville Symphony.

      Bicentennial Area C

      Average rates: $1000–$2300

      Area C is an approximately 60,000 sq. ft. green space, ideal for festivals and vendor displays.

      Bicentennial Area D

      Average rates: $1000–$2300

      Area D is an approximately 60,000 sq. ft. green space, ideal for festivals and vendor displays.

      Bicentennial Area E

      Average rates: $1000–$2300

      This green space is much smaller than area C or D (approximately 30,000 square feet) and includes the Court of Three Stars, a memorial to Tennessee’s musical heritage. Please note that to preserve the monument, you cannot place items within the Court of Three Stars.

      Bicentennial Area F

      Average rates: $1000–$1100
      Capacity: 3500 guests

      This green space sits behind the Court of Three Stars, between the Tennessee State Museum and Tennessee State Library and Archives.

      All Tennessee State Park rules, regulations, and policy guidelines must be followed during special events. Please contact the park for additional terms and conditions that may apply.

    • Special Features

      The park has many special features that must be protected; every event will sign a contract outlining ways to protect the park's features.

    • Electric and Water

      Electrical hookups and water access points are available with additional fees.

    • Permits

      Additional permits are available, with a fee. These include alcohol, photo and film, drone, and vendor permits.
