    Horseback Riding at Tennessee State Parks

    Tennessee State Parks have several horse-friendly parks, places to bring your own horse or rent a horse.

    Several parks also provide equestrian support facilities and even a wrangler camping area.

    All equestrian facilities in state parks offer horse rental, guided rides, or support facilities for guests accessing the trails on lands managed by the Tennessee Division of Forestry.

    Wrangler Campsites for Horseback Riders

    Tennessee State Parks offer dedicated wrangler campgrounds at select parks, designed for riders traveling with their horses.

    These spacious sites provide convenient access to equestrian trails and facilities, making it easy to settle in and ride right from your campsite. Chickasaw and Natchez Trace offer Wrangler Campgrounds, ideal for bringing your horse. The campgrounds accommodate RVs and horse trailers. Campsites include electric and water hookups and hitching lines.
