Join Ranger Abby in this class about what makes Bledsoe Creek State Park special. Whether it's about our rich history, protected wetlands, or popular wildlife, we'll help you capture what you love about our park with oil pastels.


Rangers will provide paper and pastels, as well as some templates to help you draw difficult images.


Shelter 2 is located at the end of Raccoon Creek Lane. Parking available in Visitor Center parking lot, playground parking lot, and Raccoon Creek Lane Day Use spaces.

Bledsoe Creek State Park, encompassing 169 acres, is a haven for outdoor recreation nestled on the shores of Old Hickory Lake. Visitors can explore a protected wetland from the Observation Boardwalk, Birdsong Trail and Shoreline Trail. The park offers hiking trails with scenic vistas, camping with lake views, and opportunities for fishing and boating, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
