Day After Thanksgiving Hike
Meeting Place
Island Loop Trailhead (opens in new tab)Event Details
Join us the day after Thanksgiving for a free guided hike along the Island Loop Trail. It’s a chance to get outside, give thanks for Tennessee’s natural beauty, and make memories with family and friends. Come learn something new, explore a favorite place, and maybe even meet a few new people along the way!
Meet Ranger Jillian at the Island Loop Trailhead near Cabin #9 at 10:00 am. We will hike approximately 2.5 miles of moderate terrain, making occasional stops to discuss the park's natural and cultural resources. Please wear sturdy shoes and come dressed for the weather. Don't forget a water bottle, sun protection, snacks, and a camera if you'd like! Dogs are welcome to join; we just ask that they follow park rules by remaining on a leash.
