Leonids Meteor Shower
Meeting Place
Pool Parking Lot (opens in new tab)Event Details
Join us to watch the Leonids meteor shower under a dark sky. This meteor shower only happens once every 33 years! 5 am is the peak viewing time, so come enjoy it at one of the darkest spots in our area.
Please park in the pool parking lot so you don't disturb others night vision, and then join us past the small shelter at the point where the colorblind viewfinder is. Make sure to keep any flashlights pointed towards the ground and phones on low brightness. Bring a blanket or chair and be prepared to stare up for a while.
