Making Paper Beads: An Exercise in Sustainability

Join seasonal ranger Kat at the Nature Center in a craft where we will be using recycled materials to make paper beads! This is a fun way to teach kids about sustainability and also lets them take a fun craft home. We will be turning the beads into bracelets and necklaces as time allows. This activity is open to all ages, and is perfect for families and solo travelers alike. Feel free to bring your own magazines and junk mail, but we will have those things provided as well.
This program should last about an hour, and bathrooms will be accessible throughout the duration. Please bring water and a snack!
