Event Details
Join Ranger Sarah at the Visitor Center to dissect owl pellets! Come and learn about the adaptations of birds of prey as well as exploring their diet and lifestyles. All ages welcome! Registration required, meet on front porch of the Park Visitor Center.

Frozen Head State Park encompasses over 24,000 acres of rugged wilderness in the Cumberland Mountains. Named for the 3,324-foot peak often shrouded in ice during winter, the park offers a primitive and unplugged experience for outdoor enthusiasts. Hike to the iconic Lookout Tower, explore cascading waterfalls, and discover the remnants of a historic Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp.
