Join Roan Mountain State Park on Saturday, September 26th from 2:00-3:00PM at the RMSP Office aviary to meet our wildlife ambassador owls and learn more about the unique bird of prey and opportunities to see them across the 2026 fall in Roan Mountain.

Park Ranger Phil Hylen and our aviary volunteers will introduce participants to our live owl ambassadors while familiarizing everyone with the purpose of our aviary program. This is a free program with no participant limit. Please do not bring a dog to the program unless it is a trained service animal.
