Event Details

Bledsoe Creek State Park is starting a new wildflower field adjacent to our Visitor Center! Join our team in weeding the field to give our seedlings the best chance through the summer heat.


We will meet at the Visitor Center at 9am on Saturday, August 8th. Bring water, sun protection, and any other products that help you feel comfortable while weeding! Ranger Abby will provide gardening gloves.

Bledsoe Creek State Park, encompassing 169 acres, is a haven for outdoor recreation nestled on the shores of Old Hickory Lake. Visitors can explore a protected wetland from the Observation Boardwalk, Birdsong Trail and Shoreline Trail. The park offers hiking trails with scenic vistas, camping with lake views, and opportunities for fishing and boating, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
