Join Ranger Casey for an easy stroll down Kelly Lane Greenway at Seven Islands to the Green House where we'll watch the sunset over the French Broad River. The beauty of the sunset will be enjoyed from the porch area of the Green House as we sip on hot chocolate and share stories of Appalachian history, nature, and folklore.
Ranger Casey will be telling some special stories of Appalachian history and folklore that make our region so special, but participants are greatly encouraged to share stories of history/folklore as well!
The total round-trip distance of the hike will be approximately 1 mile and will be entirely along the paved Kelly Lane Greenway. Bring your own cup if you would like, but some cups will be available as well.
Participants should plan on meeting Ranger Casey at the Bluebird Barn by the main entrance off Kelly Lane by 5pm. If you have questions regarding this program, please contact Ranger Casey at casey.sink@tn.gov
