BRAT Excursion: Hidden gems of Vesta Natural Area Glade

This is for BRAT participants only.

BRAT participants are invited to explore the unique landscape of Vesta Cedar Glade, one of the region’s best examples of a cedar glade ecosystem. Join a ranger led hike through this fascinating natural area and discover the plants, geology, and wildlife that make cedar glades such a special part of Tennessee’s natural heritage.

The trail is approximately 1.6 miles and relatively easy, but participants should wear appropriate clothing and sturdy walking shoes and bring plenty of water.

Please note: Parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly encouraged. There are no restrooms at the site. Registration is limited to provide participants with a more enjoyable experience.
