    David Crockett is proud to feature seven modern cabins near beautiful Lake Lindsey. Available year-round, each cabin is completely furnished with a full kitchen and a covered patio. These unique modern accommodations were designed and built with energy efficiency in mind. They are the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified vacation homes in the eastern United States or available at a state park. The energy-efficient cabins are heated and cooled by a Geo-Thermally powered HVAC unit. The gas fireplaces will be available from November 1 through March 31 to help the park meet LEEDS and GREEN Certification requirements for energy conservation.

    Details You Should Know

    • Minimum Stay

      Cabin rentals may be subject to a three-night minimum stay during peak times including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day at park management discretion.  

    • Stay Limit

      Stay limit is two weeks during peak season (March through November) and 28 days during the off-season (December through February). 

    • Pet Policy  

      Pets are only permitted in pet-friendly cabins. There is a $20/pet/night charge. Additional charges may apply for any damage that may occur to furnishings.  

    Accessibility

    If you wish to reserve an ADA accessible cabin, please contact us (1-888-867-2757). Please be aware that you must make a specific request for an ADA accessible cabin. There are a limited number, so reservations for ADA accessible cabins should be made as far in advance as possible.

    Open Wednesday through Sunday, The Restaurant at David Crockett offers delicious southern cuisine in a rustic setting. It's the perfect spot to refuel after a day of exploring.  

    Firewood Policy 

    Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
