Boat Dock and Swimming Area Closed for Accessibility Improvements
The boat dock and swimming area are closed to the public for accessibility improvements.
Guests will not be permitted access to these areas for safety reasons. Guests will be permitted to bring their personal canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards during this time.
Campground Closure
Pickett CCC Memorial State Park's Campground will be closed from May 26, 2025, to mid-2026 for renovations to the bathhouse and campground.

The Group Camp at Pickett CCC Memorial State Park is a perfect setting for your next church camp, scouting weekend, or family reunion! It accommodates up to 144 people. It contains six bunkhouses, two bathhouses, and a dining hall with a completely equipped kitchen.
Group Camp Details
Sunday - Thursday: $362 | up to 144 people | minimum of 2 nights; 6 nights during the summer season
Friday - Saturday: $422 | up to 144 people | minimum of 2 nights; 6 nights during the summer season
The dining hall, kitchen, and six bunkhouses all have air conditioning and heating. The camp has a large ballfield that can also be used for astronomy programs.
Campers are required to clean the facility and must provide linens, trash bags, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Brooms, mops, and mop buckets are provided for your convenience. A walk-through with park staff will be completed upon check-in and before departure to ensure the facility is in a satisfactory condition. During June and July, rental is weekly, but in May it can be reserved for a 2-night minimum. It is available from May - July.

Firewood Policy
Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
