    Safety and Accessibility

    • Safety

      Warriors' Path State Park is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. While the park offers a variety of recreational opportunities, it's important to be aware of your surroundings and take necessary precautions. Park Rangers are Emergency Medical Responder or Paramedic licensed and can be contacted in the event of an emergency. Automated External Defibrillators are available at the marina, camp store, and office.  

    • Accessibility

      Warriors' Path State Park is the only park with a Boundless Playground, where children of all physical and mental abilities can play together. Other accessible areas include the Lions Narnia Braille Trail with sensory stations, the Anderson Treehouse, and the Palmer Center Foundation Amphitheater. Warriors' Path State Park also offers an adult changing table and an accessible kayak launch/fishing pier.

      Tennessee State Parks are dedicated to promoting responsible recreation — encouraging visitors to enjoy the parks’ natural beauty while minimizing their own impact. By practicing Leave No Trace principles and respecting park rules, visitors can help preserve these precious resources for future generations.

      Enjoy Disc Golf?

      The disc golf course is a very popular recreational facility at the park. It is a fun and challenging course with two 18-hole courses. The local disc golf association does a great job of maintaining the courses and holds frequent competitions. The courses are considered some of the best in the state!

      The Marina at Warriors’ Path

      Experience the day on the lake. The marina offers paddling rentals for those ready and able to jump into a kayak, canoe, or pedal boat. For boat owners, check out our slip rentals available year-round.

      • Empty room with a small stage, wood-paneled walls, and overhead lights.

      Warriors’ Path Meeting Rooms

      The Recreation Lodge is a 1600-square-foot room that is ideal for meetings, reunions, weddings, receptions, and seminars. The 40' x 40' room has a 9' ceiling and a small stage at one end. Tables and chairs are provided, and it can seat up to 100 people theater-style. 

      There are no kitchen facilities available, but groups may bring in food or have their event catered. The outside hallway is equipped with bathrooms and water fountains. No smoking allowed inside the building, and it is wheelchair accessible. The Recreation Lodge can be reserved one year in advance.

      Pavilions

      Warriors’ Path State Park has five picnic Pavilions that may be reserved for your next event or gathering. Depending on the shelter, the maximum capacity ranges from 100 to 160 people.  

      Amenities: picnic tables, a grill, and some have access to restrooms.  

      Reservations may be made online or by calling the park up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee.  

      There is a $5 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations cancelled eight days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations cancelled seven days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees. 

      Capacity: 100 - 160
