    Booker T. Washington State Park offers flexible group stay options designed for retreats, camps, reunions, and organized gatherings of all sizes.

    Whether your group needs cabin-style lodging with shared recreation spaces or dormitory-style accommodations with a central assembly hall, Booker T. Washington provides spaces for meals, meetings, and outdoor activities all in one location. 

    Group Camp

    Booker T. Washington The Oaks Group Camp

    Sunday - Thursday: $362 | up to 100 people | minimum of 2 nights; 7 nights during the summer season Friday - Saturday: $527 | up to 100 people | minimum of 2 nights; 7 nights during the summer season The Oaks Group Camp is available from April 1 through October 31. It consists of six cabins, a state-of-the-art dining hall, a bathhouse, a covered pavilion, and a basketball court. Each cabin sleeps 16 people. The facility was completely renovated in 2014 and the design is based on the Rosenwald Schools of the early 20th century. Please note: Stays of seven days or longer during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) have priority and can be made one year in advance. Memorial Day and Labor Day require at least a three (3) night reservation. Short-term reservations for two (2) nights or more must be booked after March 1 of that year.

    Tuskegee Airmen Group Lodge

    The Tuskegee Airmen Group Lodge consists of three buildings. There are two dormitory-style barracks that sleep 25 on each side. This is ideal for groups that need separate sleeping areas for the boys and girls. The third building, the General Chappie James Assembly Hall, has a full kitchen and dining area with a fireplace.

    Amenities: full kitchen, dining area, fireplace, large pit grill

    Firewood Policy 

    Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
