Birding at Head of the Crow

Sherwood Loop’s elevated hardwood forests and scenic overlooks provide opportunities for viewing birds inhabiting canopies, rich understory, and general hardwood forests.

Birders are likely to find varieties of warblers, both canopy and understory nesting, varieties of woodpeckers, gnatcatchers, barred owls and more.
