National Safe Boating Week
Boating and paddling are exceptional ways to experience the beauty of Tennessee State Parks.
With countless people traversing our waterways each year, safe boating and paddling are more important than ever. That's why each year we join people across the country in their effort to promote boating and paddling safety during National Safe Boating Week, May 16-22, 2026. From hands-on Kayak 101 Courses to virtual educational videos, we invite you to learn how you can be a safe and responsible boater.
