Starting July 7th, the campground at Standing Stone State Park will undergo renovations. This closure is expected to last until late 2026.

**ATTENTION CAMPERS: If you are traveling with a trailer or RV, please use Hwy. 52 to Hwy. 136, due to inaccessibility to RVs from the south entrance of the park.

    National Rolley Hole Marble Tournament

    Every September, the marbles come out!  

    Some of the best players join in on this one-of-a-kind family experience. The festival includes kids’ games, marble making, swap meet, tournament play, demonstrations, music, and food. Registration is required to participate in the tournament.  Featured by ESPN, Sports Illustrated, CBS, CNN, Smithsonian Institution, National Geographic, and Charles Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip!

      Tea Room

      Great views of Standing Stone Lake make it ideal for wedding receptions, reunions, and small conferences. The venue includes a large back deck and five picnic tables and has Wi-Fi.

      Located next to the Tea Room, this room is ideal to use as a dressing room for Tea Room weddings.

      Amphitheater

      The Amphitheater is a rustic outdoor setting with a stage and benches.

      Standing Stone Overton Lodge

      The Overton Lodge is a large, secluded overnight facility that features a “T” shaped layout. The lodge features a large gathering area with a wood-burning fireplace and two wings containing 48 single bunk beds, four restrooms, and two shower rooms.

      Standing Stone Group Cabins

      Ideal for large families or small groups wishing to travel and stay together. The park also offers regular cabin options. No television, microwave, or telephone. A real escape!

      Standing Stone Barn

      The Barn is also a rustic outdoor venue, but with a beautiful barn background.

    Pavilions

    Standing Stone State Park has five picnic pavilions that may be reserved for your next event or gathering. 

    Capacity: 24 - 90
    Amenities: picnic tables, grill, access to restrooms 
    Nearby: Depending upon the shelter, access to a playground, tennis courts, basketball or volleyball courts, or the swimming pool is nearby. 
    Rates: $48 - $121  

    Full-day shelter reservations may be made online or by calling the park. 

    Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved online up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee.  

    There is a $5 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations cancelled eight days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations cancelled seven days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees. 

    For Schools

    Engage your students in a hands-on learning experience with Ranger-led or teacher-led programs at Tennessee State Parks.

  • Energy Efficiency

    Participant in the TVA Green Power Switch program. Installed solar security walkway and landscape lighting. Replaced bulbs with LEDs. Use high-efficiency wood stoves for heating the Ranger residences.  

  • Protect Habitats

    Standing Stone State Park enhances the ecosystem by conducting controlled burns and planting butterfly attracting plants. Maintain a native plant garden. Coordinate regular litter pickup events.  

  • Eco-Friendly Practices

    Composts on site and strategic reduction in the number of UV lamps used at the wastewater plant while retaining the same quality effluent.
