Indian Mountain Camping
Camping at Indian Mountain
Indian Mountain State Park is located in northern Tennessee in Jellico, just south of the Kentucky border. The park features lakes set against mountain scenery, offering opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, birding, and disc golf.
Camping options include a main campground with sites for RVs and tents offering full hookups, including water, electric, and sewer, as well as the Rabbit Road Campground, which offers primitive, hike-in campsites for tent campers.
Indian Mountain Main Campground
The main campground offers full hookup sites with paved pads to serve both tent and RV campers. The sites have sewer, water, and 20-, 30-, 50-amp hookups. All sites have a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. A modern bathhouse with restrooms and hot showers is centrally located. A dump station is also available.
Rabbit Road Campground
Our Rabbit Road Campground hosts ten primitive hike-in campsites along the Airplane Pond Trail. These sites are the perfect place for tent camping and peaceful relaxation. Each site hosts a tent pad, a fire pit, and is partially or fully shaded. These sites do not offer electric or water hook-up points. A bathhouse for campers is located in the parking area, which offers hot showers and restrooms.
Firewood Policy
Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
