    Fishing at Bledsoe Creek

Old Hickory Lake is a 22,500-acre reservoir providing fishing, skiing, and other water recreation activities.

Old Hickory Lake is known for good bass, crappie, catfish, and sauger fishing. Many anglers enjoy fishing near the power plant.

Bank fishing is decent along lakeside trails and waterfront campsites.

The park features two public boat launch ramps. The ramps are only available during hours of operation and both ramps can accommodate fishing boats.

Fishing is not allowed in the protected wetland area located along the Mayo-Wix Trail, the Birdsong Trail, and part of the Shoreline Trail.
