Fall Creek Falls State Park

In August 2023, Fall Creek Falls State Park was impacted by a tornado. Please see the updates below regarding the current status of park availability due to past storm damage.

The following areas remain closed:

  • Piney Falls Trail (FCF parking lot to Piney Falls parking lot)
  • Millikan's Overlook Trail (overlook is open, trail is closed)

    Fall Creek Falls State Park offers multiple venues around the park and inside the Lodge at Fall Creek Falls, perfect for meetings, corporate retreats, family reunions, weddings, and more! 

    Our Event Spaces

      Fall Creek Falls Cascades Ballroom

      Average rates: $2000
      Capacity: 300 guests

      The Cascades Ballroom offers over 3,000 feet of event space and can support theater-style seating for 400 people. The ballroom can also be split evenly into two smaller rooms (Cascades Ballroom A and Cascades Ballroom B) that can hold 200 people in a theatre-style setup.

      Fall Creek Falls Cascades Patio

      Capacity: 50 guests

      The Cascades Patio is located near the front of the lodge. This spacious area offers a large stone fire pit.

      Fall Creek Falls Lakeview Terrace

      Capacity: 50 guests

      The Lakeview Terrace offers elevated views of Fall Creek Falls Lake and a fire pit with Adirondack-style chairs under gorgeous string lights. The Lake Level Terrace also offers views of Fall Creek Falls Lake from ground level.

      The airy and bright pre-function space is located in front of the Cascades Ballroom and leads to the Cascades Patio. This spacious area is ideal for mingling during events held in the Cascades Ballroom.

      This versatile, multi-room building near Taft Village has several rooms of various sizes for all your wedding, event, and conference needs. There is ample parking near this venue.

      Fall Creek Falls Amphitheater

      Average rates: $121
      Capacity: 350 guests

      The Fall Creek Falls Amphitheater is an open-air venue that holds up to 350 people. It features a stage area and bench seating. There is ample parking and it is ADA-compliant. The amphitheater is located near the Recreation Hall and swimming pool.

      Please note: Due to the Amphitheater being located near the Fall Creek Falls Swimming Pool, there may be loud noise on certain days from swimming pool patrons from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

      Fall Creek Falls Secret Overlook

      Average rates: $455
      Capacity: 50 guests

      Shhhh. This is our best-kept secret at Fall Creek Falls State Park. The perfect spot for an intimate ceremony, this secluded area offers an unforgettable setting for small, private events. It is accessible via a short walk through the stunning natural surroundings. With seating for up to 50 guests and additional standing room, this picturesque location provides an unparalleled backdrop for your special day. Limited parking is available just a short distance away, with space for up to three cars. The majority of the area is a grassy open space that is a perfect venue for any private event.

      Fall Creek Falls Gilbert Gaul Room

      Average rates: $66
      Capacity: 30 guests

      The Gilbert Gaul Room is a small meeting and event space. It holds 30 people and has an attached patio. The restrooms are right outside. It is located in the Taft Village area just to the left of the General Store. It is an easy walk to the Snack Bar and Grill. Cables for A/V equipment are provided as a TV and whiteboard.

    Pavilions

    Fall Creek Falls State Park has a total of seven picnic shelters/pavilions that may be reserved for your next event or gathering. Each shelter has a maximum capacity of 50 people. The shelters are equipped with picnic tables, a grill, and most have access to restrooms. Depending upon the shelter, you will have access to a playground, swimming area or pool, or a ballfield is nearby.

    Full day shelter reservations may be made online or by calling the park.

    Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved online up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee. There is a $5 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations cancelled eight days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations cancelled seven days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees.

      Fall Creek Falls Shelter 1

      Capacity: 75 guests

      Located near the Nature Center Comfort Station this shelter features water and electricity and access to playgrounds.

      Located across the road from the Nature Center Comfort Station this facility has electricity and water. The playground and restrooms are across the street.

      Located at the George Hole Swimming Area this facility is near a very scenic area and popular swimming hole. No water or electricity is available at this shelter.

      Screened in facility located in the Village Green Area of the park near the Olympic-size swimming pool. The facility has access to electricity and water.

      Shelter is located across from lighted softball field near boat dock in the Village Green Area of the park. This shelter is complete with electricity and running water.

      Fall Creek Falls Eli Shelter 1

      Average rates: $66
      Capacity: 80 guests

      Eli Shelter 1 is in the Eli Field Camping Area. It includes 15 picnic tables, accommodates up to 80 people, and offers nearby restrooms, water, and electricity.

      Fall Creek Falls Eli Shelter 2

      Average rates: $66
      Capacity: 80 guests

      Eli Shelter 2 is in the Eli Field Camping Area. It includes 21 picnic tables, accommodates up to 80 people, and offers nearby restrooms, water, and electricity.

    The Lodge at Fall Creek Falls

    The Lodge at Fall Creek Falls features over 5,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space. Conference and meeting spaces are available inside the Lodge and at several locations throughout the park. The on-site catering, meeting facilities, and outdoor recreation make it easy for groups to meet, eat, and play. It is an ideal destination for corporate retreats, team-building excursions, weddings, and trainings. 

    Event Space Includes: 

    • Over 5,000 square feet of flexible event space inside the Lodge. 
    • Outdoor venues like the secret overlook, lakeside pier, and amphitheater. 
    • New on-site restaurant and lounge with full-service catering options. 
    • 85 lakeside Lodge rooms, including 3 suites, and 30 cabins.
