**ATTENTION CAMPERS: If you are traveling with a trailer or RV, please use Hwy. 52 to Hwy. 136, due to inaccessibility to RVs from the south entrance of the park.

    Standing Stone State Park offers several great options for groups looking to stay together, ranging from fully equipped group cabins that sleep 12–16 guests to the larger Overton Lodge, which accommodates up to 48 people and includes a commercial kitchen, spacious gathering areas, and bunk-style lodging. These cabins and lodges provide a comfortable retreat without televisions or distractions, helping groups stay connected to nature. For those traveling with fewer people, the park also offers smaller cabins and a variety of camping options—perfect for families, small groups, or anyone wanting a more intimate stay within the park.

    Standing Stone Group Camp Details

    The Group Cabins at Standing Stone State Park are meant to accommodate 12-16 people. These are ideal rental options for large families or small groups wishing to travel and stay together. The park offers smaller cabins, too, that can sleep 8-10 people.

    All group cabins are completely equipped for housekeeping. There are no televisions, microwaves or telephones in the cabins. Cabins may be reserved up to two years in advance. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. There is a standard two-night minimum and a three-night minimum during holidays.

      Group Cabin 1

      $145 - $319/night
      Group Cabin 1 has four double beds, two futons, and a pull-out sofa and accommodates up to 12 people.

      Group Cabin 2

      Group Cabin 2 has eight double beds and accommodates up to 16 people.

      Group Cabin 3

      $145 - $319/night
      Group Cabin 3 has six double beds, and a pull-out sofa and accommodates up to 12 people. This cabin is heated and is available year-round.

    Group Lodge

    Overton Lodge is a large, secluded overnight facility that features a “T” shaped layout and can accommodate groups of up to 48 people.

    Standing Stone State Park’s Overton Lodge is designed for large groups and features a centrally located industrial kitchen with three commercial appliances, including a stove, refrigerator, and freezer. The lodge includes three elongated rooms on each side: one large gathering area with a wood-burning fireplace, and two wings containing a total of 48 single bunk beds, four restrooms, and two shower rooms. 

    The facility also includes a microwave and Wi-Fi, but there is no television, providing a comfortable and functional space for group stays while keeping guests connected to the park’s natural surroundings. This lakeside facility is located 5 miles from the Standing Stone State Park office and has large grounds surrounding it, a charcoal grill, and a private fire ring. Linens can be provided for an additional charge.

    All rates are subject to change. Taxes and fees are added upon reservation.

      Standing Stone Deluxe Cabins

      Standing Stone State Park has 7 deluxe cabins, open year-round. Each cabin features one bathroom, central heat and air, a full kitchen, TV, and Wi-Fi. These cabins also have a gas log fireplace (seasonal).

      Standing Stone Rustic Cabins

      Standing Stone State Park has 14 rustic cabins. Each cabin includes central heat and air, a kitchen, a bathroom, a seasonal gas log fireplace, and Wi-Fi.

      Standing Stone Main Campground

      The campground features tent and trailer sites, each equipped with a picnic table, charcoal grill, fire ring, water hookups, and 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electrical connections. The campground has two central bathhouses and a dump station. Wi-Fi is available. The campground and bathhouses are open year-round, providing a convenient base for enjoying the park’s hiking trails, the pool, and outdoor activities.

    Firewood Policy 

    Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
