**ATTENTION CAMPERS: If you are traveling with a trailer or RV, please use Hwy. 52 to Hwy. 136, due to inaccessibility to RVs from the south entrance of the park.

    Located within Standing Stone State Park in Middle Tennessee, Standing Stone Cabins offer a peaceful retreat surrounded by scenic forested areas known for their natural beauty and historic significance. The park itself is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was built in the 1930s by the WPA. 

    Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, and birding, or explore nearby attractions like Dale Hollow Lake, Cummins Falls State Park, and Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, Standing Stone Cabins provide the perfect base to experience the beauty and history of the Highland Rim.

      Standing Stone Deluxe Cabins

      3 bedrooms 5 beds 1 bath
      Standing Stone State Park has 7 deluxe cabins, open year-round. Each cabin features one bathroom, central heat and air, a full kitchen, TV, and Wi-Fi. These cabins also have a gas log fireplace (seasonal).

      Standing Stone Rustic Cabins

      Standing Stone State Park has 14 rustic cabins. Each cabin includes central heat and air, a kitchen, a bathroom, a seasonal gas log fireplace, and Wi-Fi.

    All rates are subject to change. Taxes and fees are added upon reservation.

    Details You Should Know

    • Minimum Stay

      Cabin rentals may be subject to a 3-night minimum during peak times (including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day) at park management discretion.

    • Pet Policy

      Pets are only permitted in cabins 1, 1A, 12, 14, and 15. There is a $20 per pet charge per night. Additional charges may apply for any damage that may occur to carpet or furnishings.

    • Seasonality

      November - March: Rustic Cabins 2, 6, 13, 17, 18, and the Overton Lodge are not available.


       

    Firewood Policy 

    Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.

    Accessibility

    If you wish to reserve an ADA accessible cabin, please contact us (1-888-867-2757). Please be aware that you must make a specific request for an ADA accessible cabin. There are a limited number, so reservations for ADA accessible cabins should be made as far in advance as possible.
