Camping at Fall Creek Falls
Fall Creek Falls State Park is located on the eastern edge of the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee, near the town of Spencer. The park offers a scenic setting known for waterfalls, gorges, forested landscapes, and extensive trail systems, with popular activities including hiking, fishing, paddling, swimming, and waterfall chasing.
Camping options include multiple campgrounds with sites for tents and RVs offering water and electric hookups, with some sites also providing sewer connections. For a more rustic stay, the park features walk-in primitive campsites and backcountry camping options accessible by hiking or biking.
Fall Creek Falls Main Campground: Areas A - E
The Main Campground offers five different areas: A, B, C, D, and E. All sites have tables, grills, water, and 50, 30, and 20 amp electric. 107 sites have sewer connections. Some select sites will accommodate an RV up to 65 feet in length. There are seven bathhouses.

Each site has a water spigot, a couple of charcoal grills, and enough room for a maximum of 50 people per site. All four sites share one large bath house that has a men’s and women’s side. It offers electricity, toilets, and sinks, but no showers. You are allowed to use the showers in campground Area E if needed. Reservations for these sites may be made by calling the park office.
