Some Trails Closed
Portions of the Montgomery Bell and Creech Hollow Trails will be closed for visitor safety beginning 3/2/26 due to a timber salvage project as a result of the November storms that brought down thousands of trees. We anticipate reopening the closed portions in May 2026.

Our Event Spaces
Pavilions
Montgomery Bell State Park has four picnic shelters/pavilions that may be reserved for your next event or gathering. Maximum capacity ranges from 42 to 70 people. The shelters are equipped with picnic tables, a grill, and most have access to restrooms. Depending on the shelter, you will have close proximity to a creek, access to the trails, or a beautiful view of the lake.
Full-day shelter reservations may be made online or by calling the park.
Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved online up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee. There is a $5 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations canceled eight days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations canceled seven days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees.
Please note, the Park Office Shelter is available for free on a first-come, first-serve basis.

With flexible event venues, spacious guest rooms, and on-site catering, you can build an event that’s unique to your needs and wants.
Group Camp Cabins
Indoor Venue
34 rustic cabins with no air conditioning or heating. Outdoor restrooms.
Capacity: Up to 120
Available: Mid-April to November 1. Nightly minimum applies.
Amenities: Electricity and fireplace
Rates: Sunday – Thursday $410 per night / Friday – Saturday $468 per night
Catering
Our experienced team offers flexible catering options for events of all sizes.
While our restaurant itself is not available for private events, we offer a range of flexible spaces perfect for your catering needs. Our private dining room, adjacent to the restaurant, boasts stunning lake views and provides an intimate setting for smaller gatherings while our conference rooms can accommodate large events. We can also provide catering to the pavilion at Lake Acorn.
Our sales and event coordinator is ready to assist with all aspects of your event planning and is glad to custom-design a menu to best suit your needs.
