Lodge and Restaurant Closed for Rebuild

Natchez Trace State Park

The Lodge at Natchez Trace (the Pin Oak Lodge) and Restaurant are currently undergoing a rebuild, with an anticipated reopening in spring 2028. 

During construction, the pool will be unavailable. Guests are welcome at our cabins, which remain open during construction, and a food truck at the Camp Store serves hot food.

Horse stall reservations must be made through the Visitor Center at Natchez Trace at 731-968-3742.

    About two hours west of Nashville, TN and east of Memphis, TN, you’ll find 48,000 acres of rustic wilderness and 32 lakeside cabins at Natchez Trace State Park. 

    The cabins are situated near Pin Oak Lake and Cub Creek Lake. Cabin guests can enjoy a multitude of trails through the forest, fields, and along the lakeshores and streams of Natchez Park. 

    The park offers activities for cabin visitors of all ages such as swimming, boating, biking, fishing, and horseback riding. Hunting and ATV riding is accessible nearby on WMA land. Cabin visitors also have access to the museum, picnic facilities, and gift shops. Whatever your adventure, you are sure to find it at the Natchez Trace cabins. Our Cub Lake cabin guests are welcome to visit our public swim beach at Cub Lake.

      Natchez Trace Standard Cabins

      1 bedroom 1 bed 1 bath
      Natchez Trace has 17 standard cabins nestled among tall trees on beautiful Cub Creek Lake. The cabins are fully equipped for housekeeping, including modern bathrooms, kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, linens, and towels. Each cabin has a grill and a picnic table. They are air-conditioned and also have electric fireplaces. These cabins do not have a TV or Wifi.

      Natchez Trace Camping Cabins

      1 bedroom 4 beds
      The five Pin Oak camping cabins are a unique lodging option at Natchez Trace. The cabins are located right by the water on a grassy slope overlooking Pin Oak Lake.  Each cabin has air conditioning, two bunks, a picnic table, BBQ grill, lantern holder, and water (in-season). All camper cabins are pet-friendly and are open year-round.

      Natchez Trace Deluxe Cabins 

      2 bedrooms 3 beds 2 baths
      Natchez Trace has 10 deluxe cabins situated on Pin Oak Lake. Each cabin is two stories and can accommodate six people comfortably. The balcony overlooks the lake and has a gas grill, table, and chairs.   There is a fully equipped kitchen with cookware and utensils to serve six people. There is a spacious living room with cable TV and a gas fireplace in the living room area, but please note that the fireplace is turned off from April through October. Every cabin shares a boat dock on Pin Oak Lake.

    Details You Should Know

    • Minimum Stay  

      There is a two-night minimum stay required. Holidays and other special event times may require longer minimum stays. Peak times require a three-night minimum stay (including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day).    

    • Maximum Stay  

      Maximum consecutive stay from March 1 – November 30 in any one cabin is 14 nights. From December 1 – February 29, the maximum stay is 28 nights.    

    • Pet Policy  

      Pets are only allowed in the pet-friendly cabins. There is a $20 per pet/night charge for standard cabins and $9 per pet/night charge for camping cabins. Additional charges may apply for any damage that occurs to the carpet or furnishings.    

    • Swimming Opportunities

      Cub Lake cabin guests are welcome to visit our public swim beach at Cub Lake for the nearest swimming opportunity at the park.

    Accessibility

    If you wish to reserve an ADA accessible cabin, please contact us (1-888-867-2757). Please be aware that you must make a specific request for an ADA accessible cabin. There are a limited number, so reservations for ADA accessible cabins should be made as far in advance as possible.

    Visit The Natchez Trace Camp Store

    The park’s camp store is your best spot for finding gear, snacks, and accessories to make your camping experience exceptional. The camp store is your go-to destination for a cold drink, a can of chili, or those matches your husband forgot to pack. 

    Before you leave, grab a souvenir or some apparel to remember the experience.

    Firewood Policy 

    Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
