Lodge and Restaurant Closed for Rebuild
The Lodge at Natchez Trace (the Pin Oak Lodge) and Restaurant are currently undergoing a rebuild, with an anticipated reopening in spring 2028.
During construction, the pool will be unavailable. Guests are welcome at our cabins, which remain open during construction, and a food truck at the Camp Store serves hot food.
Horse Stall Reservations
Horse stall reservations must be made through the Visitor Center at Natchez Trace at 731-968-3742.
Horseback Riding at Natchez Trace
With many acres of scenic woodlands, Natchez Trace State Park offers many options for the equine enthusiast.
Ride on around 250 miles of public use trails when visiting the Wrangler Campground.
The Wrangler Campground offers camping, bathhouses, electric and water hook-ups at over 60 sites. Horses will only be allowed inside the barns added to the campground for overnight stays.
If you prefer to board your horse, the Natchez Trace Equestrian Center offers 15 horse stables for rent on a nightly basis. Stalls at the Equestrian Center must be reserved by calling the Visitor Center at 1-731-968-3742.
A negative Coggins test is required for any equine activity.
