    Host Your Event at Old Stone Fort

    Nestled within Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park, this unique venue offers a blend of rich history, natural beauty, and modern amenities. Event spaces include the Museum Theater Room, as well as a stunning Museum Rooftop Terrace surrounded by trees and historic stonework—perfect for outdoor gatherings. Both spaces are available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m., with indoor access until 8:00 p.m. and outdoor access until sunset.

      Old Stone Fort Theater Room

      Average rates: $65–$125
      Capacity: 35 guests

      Located within the Museum at Old Stone Fort, the Theater Room can accommodate up to 35 people theater style or up to 25 people boardroom style. There is an 80” smart TV (with the ability to hook up a computer), Blu-ray player and surround sound.  It is available seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. This is a great space to have your next meeting or small gathering!

      Old Stone Fort Museum Rooftop

      Average rates: $241

      This beautiful outdoor space is the perfect setting for an outdoor function! Located on the roof of the museum, this venue is surrounded by trees and features remarkable stone floors and walls. This venue is available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. until sunset. Tables and chairs are also available to rent with this space for an additional fee.

    Pavilions

    Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park has one picnic shelter/pavilion that may be reserved for your next event or gathering. Located in the park picnic area, the pavilion is adjacent to the playground and is ideal for small family gatherings and parties. With a beautiful new roof, the shelter has two charcoal grills and will currently seat approximately 15. There is access to water and electricity available. Restrooms are nearby.

    Reservations may be made online or by calling the park shelter reservations.

    Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved online up to one year in advance with a paid reservation fee. There is a $5 cancellation fee for picnic shelter or pavilion reservations canceled eight days or more in advance of the reserved date. Reservations canceled seven days or less in advance of the reserved date forfeit all paid fees.

      Old Stone Fort Shelter

      Average rates: $40
      Capacity: 15 guests

      The Old Stone Fort picnic shelter is located in the park picnic area. With a beautiful new roof and adjacent to the playground, the pavilion is perfect for small family gatherings and parties. The shelter has two charcoal grills beside it and will currently seat approximately 40. There is access to water and electricity is available. Restrooms are located nearby.
