Camping at Warriors' Path
Warriors’ Path State Park is located in Kingsport, Tennessee, along the shores of Patrick Henry Reservoir on the Holston River. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, birding, golfing, mountain biking, paddling, and disc golf throughout the park. As well as the Main Campground, Moody Bluff Campground, and Cedar Ridge Hammock Campground.
The Main Campground features sites for tents and RVs with water and electric hookups, while Moody Bluff Campground offers deluxe sites with water, electric, and sewer hookups, including pull-through options for larger RVs. The Cedar Ridge Hammock Campground provides a primitive, group-oriented camping experience designed specifically for hammock camping.
Warriors' Path Main Campground
The Main Campground campsites are equipped with water and electric hookups. All campsites also include a grill and fire ring. Restrooms and heated showers are available.
Warriors' Path Moody Bluff Campground
Moody Bluff Campground deluxe campsites are equipped with water, electric, and sewer hookups. Some of the sites can accommodate RVs up to 75 feet, and there are nine pull-through sites. All campsites also include a grill and fire ring. Two bathhouses with restrooms and heated showers are available at the campground.
Hammock Campground
The Cedar Ridge Hammock Campground is a unique camping area for primitive and group-style camping. The Wild Cherry, Sweet Gum, and Locust sites accommodate six hammocks, and the Pine Wheel Site can hold up to 24 hammocks. Amenities for each site include access to water, a stone picnic table, a fire ring, a lantern hook, and a grill. A bathhouse is located a short distance away via a gravel path, along with proximity to a dumpster. Finally, the hammock campground has a close and convenient parking area for vehicles, small buses, and enclosed trailers common among groups.
Groups may also reserve this area, but you must reserve all four sites at the same time. All group reservations must be made in advance and by calling the park office directly.
Firewood Policy
Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
