Camping at Cove Lake
Cove Lake State Park is located in East Tennessee on the eastern edge of the Cumberland Plateau, about 30 minutes north of Knoxville. The park sits in a scenic mountain valley and offers opportunities for paddling, hiking, biking, fishing, and birding throughout its wetlands and woodlands.
Camping options include a single campground with sites for tents and RVs, all offering water and electric hookups.
Cove Lake Main Campground
Cove Lake campsites are equipped with water and electrical hookups, and most with grills and tables. Tents are allowed on all the campsites. A dump station is available, as are two modern bathhouses with hot showers and heat, and restrooms. A camp store is open seasonally. The stay limit is two weeks.
Firewood Policy
Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
