Campground Closures for Weather Damage
Due to recent weather damage, the Main Campground at Pickwick Landing State Park remains closed. The Bruton Branch Campground is open at this time.

Camping at Pickwick Landing
Pickwick Landing State Park is located in southwestern Tennessee, near where Tennessee meets Alabama and Mississippi, along the shores of Pickwick Lake. The park offers a lakefront setting with easy access to boating, fishing, swimming, and scenic trails.
Camping options include sites for tents and RVs with water and electric hookups, as well as primitive camping on the shores of Pickwick Lake.
Pickwick Landing Campground
The beautiful wooded campground sites are each equipped with a table, a grill and electrical and water hook-up. Bathhouse and dump station are centrally located. Open year-round. Fourteen sites have 20/30/50 amp electric, two ADA compliant sites have 20/30 amp electric, 30 sites have 20/30 amp electric and two sites have 20/50 amp electric.
Bruton Branch Recreation Area
This primitive campground and picnic area is located on the north side of Pickwick Lake just off Highway 128. The campground has 33 sites, most of which are located on the lake. There are no electrical or water sources at individual campsites, however there is a bath house with showers. Non-treated well water is available as a water source at the bath house. A playground and boat ramp are available. This campground is open year-round.
Pickwick Landing Walk-In Campsites
Pickwick Landing State Park offers 4 walk-in campsites located adjacent to the Island Loop Trail. These sites include a fire pit and bench. A maximum of two tents and six people are permitted per site.
Firewood Policy
Tennessee State Parks asks that ALL campfires be made with heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, near the campsite. Please refrain from bringing untreated wood into the park.
