Boating at Big Ridge
Big Ridge Lake and Norris Lake allow boating.
Big Ridge has a boat dock that is open seasonally and Norris Lake has a boat ramp just outside the park entrance drive.
Big Ridge Lake
Kayak, stand-up paddle-board, canoes, and rowboat rentals are seasonally available on the 49-acre Big Ridge Lake. The boat dock is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Please call the park office for specific hours of operation. Visitors may use their own electric trolling motors on park rowboats.
Privately owned boats can be launched on Big Ridge Lake for a nominal fee.
No inflatables are allowed on Big Ridge Lake.

Row Boat: $5 hourly
Row Boat: $15 1/2 day
Row Boat: $29 daily
Daily Personal Watercraft Permit: $6
Note: Fees listed may be in addition to any applicable licensing or access fees charged by other agencies.
Norris Lake
Fishing boats, ski boats, and wave runners can be launched at the boat ramp on Norris Lake just outside the park entrance drive.
Due to the low lake level, there is no access to the boat ramp on Norris Lake during the winter months.
