    The park has two, beautiful 54-acre lakes, perfect for paddling.

    Lake Placid is in the main part of the park and is open to the public year-round. 

    The boat dock is open Memorial Day through the first weekend in August and then, weekends only through October 16. Weekends only in May as well.

    Kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, paddle boards, pedal boats, and fishing boats can be rented at the boat dock during this time. Personal canoes and kayaks may be launched from the boat dock, year-round.

    Lake Lajoie is located eight miles west of the park within the Lake Lajoie Group Camp. The area is open to the public when the Group Camp is not in use. Contact the park office for more information.

    Paddling Rental Rates

    Rates are subject to change.

    Canoe: $10 per hour 
    Kayak Single: $8 per hour 
    Paddle board: $8 per hour 
    Four-seater Pedal Boat: $13 per hour 

    Row Boat: $5.00 per hour 
    Row Boat: $28.00 full day 
    Row Boat: $88.00 weekly 

    *Boats are paid in full at time of rental

    Visitor Center Gift Shop

    The Visitor Center Gift Shop is the perfect place to pick up a map, learn about the park, or find a souvenir. You'll find an assortment of apparel and keepsakes to remember your trip to the park.
