Paris Landing State Park is an angler's paradise, offering a variety of fishing opportunities that cater to both novice and experienced fishermen.
From the bank and fishing piers to the expansive waters accessible by boat, the park provides numerous ways to enjoy the sport.
In the spring, from late March through May, the creek mouths and embayments become hotspots for crappie fishing. Bluegill and redear sunfish are also abundant in the lake, providing great catches throughout the year. Bass fishing reaches its peak during the spring and fall, while catfish are most commonly caught during the summer and fall months.

About Kentucky Lake
Kentucky Lake, on which the park is situated, is a Bill Dance Signature Lake, benefiting from annual habitat management and improvements aimed at enhancing the quality of bass and crappie fishing.
The lake also continues to receive regular stockings of Florida largemouth bass, ensuring a thriving and dynamic fishing environment.
