Dog Park Closed Due to Storm Damage

Pickwick Landing State Park

Due to damage from Winter Storm Fern, the dog park at Pickwick Landing will be closed until further notice.

    Paddling at Pickwick Landing

    All types of boats are allowed at Pickwick Landing State Park.

    There are two public boat ramps in the park, each of which is available free of charge. The park also has a full-service marina located on the south bank of the Tennessee River. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs, and pontoon boats are available for rent at our park.  

    The kayak and canoe launch located near the tennis court is ADA-accessible and open to visitors year-round. Learn more on the park's accessibility page.

    Pickwick Landing Marina

    The park has a full-service marina located on the south bank of the Tennessee River.  

    The marina store sells boat supplies, hats, shirts, snacks, and other items, but no bait. Bait can be purchased from local vendors.  

    There are different types of boats available for rent at our park. All boat rentals are located at the marina.

    Types of Rentals and Rates

    • Single Kayak

      Single Kayak rentals include one paddle and a personal flotation device.  

      • $8 / hour
      • $27 / day 

    • Tandem (Double) Kayak

      Tandem Kayak rentals include two paddles and two personal flotation devices. 

      • $12 / hour
      • $37 / day 

    • Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP)

      SUP rentals include one paddle and a personal flotation device.  

      • $8 / hour 

    • Canoes

      Canoe rentals include two paddles and two personal floatation devices. 

      • $8 / hour
      • $30 / day 

    • Pontoon Boats

      You may rent a 24’ pontoon with a 90hp motor.  A boat rental lease is required. All pontoons are rented at the Marina Office.

      • Rate per day: $495.00

    The gift shop inside the Lodge at Pickwick Landing offers an assortment of souvenirs and items you might need during your stay. It’s a great place to stock up on grab-n-go snacks, drinks, and sunscreen before hitting the trail or the water.
