Chickasaw Fishing
Fishing at Chickasaw
Lake Placid and Lake Lajoie each provide year-round fishing for bass, bream, and catfish.
Fishing boats are available for rent year-round. Fish length and creel limits are posted. Rod and reel fishing only.
The boat dock is open Memorial Day through the first weekend in August and then weekends only through October 16th. Boats may be rented from the park office when the boat dock is closed. Boat rentals are only available for Lake Placid.
When Lake Lajoie Group Camp is vacant, it is open to the public and allowed personal jon boats to launch from that area. Visitors may call the Park Office to check on availability.
